Just joined! I too have started a blog in Thanet called Thanet Mama's Brainwaves. I shall be writing about my Thanet life as a mum and pregnant woman plus anything else related! CAnnot seem to find many other lady blogs out there tho!

- Hi just wanted to let you know about out event, would be great to hear you comments??The Thanet Baby Expo – is to be held at St. Augustine’s in Westgate-on-Sea on Friday 30th October and Saturday 31st October 2009. The aim of the event is to promote local business’s who sell products or provide services for expectant parents, babies and toddlers.
The Thanet Baby Expo already has 30 stalls booked from companies including Baby Lady Canterbury, Thanet Children’s Centres, IMMI Photography to name a few, but Sarah is still receiving enquiries. There is a wide range of exhibitors from goods for the nursery through to hypno-birthing and baby sing and sign courses. The response from local businesses has been great.There will also be a maternity fashion show hosted by All Nine Maternity, a children’s fancy dress competition with great prizes donated by Smyths Toystore, a raffle with to help raise money for the local hospital Special Care Baby Unit, a soft play area provided by Thanet Children’s Centres, a BOOTS sponsored nursing and changing area and a free goody bag containing samples and discount vouchers for the first 500 visitors to the event.
